An excellent video for training professionals and for families

This enlightening video depicts a holistic method for assessing older adults with symptoms of dementia, involving a multi-disciplinary team approach. A client and his family are followed through the assessment process. When used in conjunction with the users guide, they provide a practical guide to dementia assessment that will help sensitize clinicians to the signs and symptoms of dementing illness. A users guide for training is available as well. The guide sells for $2.00.

	FirstGov for Seniors makes it easy to obtain valuable health and security information and services at one location via the Internet. FirstGov for Seniors is one of several projects created at the direction of the National Partnership for Reinventing Government (NPRG). The Social Security Administration (SSA) agreed to create, host and maintain FirstGov for Seniors as a service especially geared toward senior citizens.
