Friendship Place Older Adult Day Services

Friendship Place - providing adult day services in Kent County

Friendship Place

Adult day services benefit older adults and their caregivers. Recent studies reflect that older adults benefit from enhanced quality and length of life when they are engaged in a socially stimulating environment.

Additional research found that unless the caregivers - often immediate or extended family members - find time to care for themselves, the stress of care-giving might be detrimental to their own health. Friendship Place allows caregivers the time to address their own needs and yet feel confident that their loved one is safe and being supervised in a friendly and socially stimulating environment.
