Staying Safe At Home

It is important to feel safe wherever you are – but particularly in your own home.  Through Life Connections – our home technology service – we offer monitored personal response systems and automated medication dispensers to increase the safety and peace of mind for the subscriber, family members and care providers.

Life Connections

To schedule a demonstration or for more information, please call us at 800-831-9755 or 616-771-9755!

All Life Connections equipment is provided by Philips Lifeline.

Products
Personal Response Unit
Our personal response unit is an easy-to-use medical alert service designed to reduce the risk of living alone. In the event of an emergency, help is available at the push of a button.  You will be connected to a highly trained call center that will assess your situation and determine who needs to be contacted – family, neighbors, or medical professionals. The response unit connects to your phone line for 24-hour support, and continuously checks for battery life in the body of the unit.  The pendant itself is waterproof and can be used to answer the phone. Our personal response unit can give you greater peace of mind and sense of confidence to maintain independent living. To schedule a demonstration or for more information, please call us at 800-831-9755 or 616-771-9755!

Medication Dispenser
Our medication dispenser provides automatic, accurate, monitored physical dispensing of scheduled medications – right at home.  The unit can be programmed to dispense medications up to six times a day at pre-determined times. The unit announces each medication dose in a clear, loud voice and can be programmed to give special instructions, such as “take with food.”  And, the system is continuously monitored, so if a person forgets to take their medication, caregivers can be notified by telephone. To schedule a demonstration or for more information, please call us at 800-831-9755 or 616-771-9755!
